AMPIN Energy Transition, a renewable energy company headquartered in India, has signed a PPA with Poly Medicure, a medical device manufacturer. The agreement covers 9.9 MW of solar power from AMPIN’s 75 MW solar park located in Kurungawali Sirsa, Haryana. This power will be supplied to five Poly Medicure manufacturing plants situated in Faridabad, replacing 35% of their electricity usage. According to the agreement, the solar tariff is estimated to be around 30% lower than current discom power rates. AMPIN stated the shift will help reduce Scope 2 emissions while also improving cost efficiency for Poly Medicure’s operations. The deal strengthens AMPIN’s industrial footprint and expands its role in the pharmaceutical and healthcare energy space. AMPIN has recently announced a deal with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to develop 2 GW renewable projects across India.
