India-based AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned a 50 MW solar project in Bemetara district, Chhattisgarh, marking its debut in the state. Completed in a record nine months, the project is the AMPIN Energy’s first solar open access project in eastern India. The plant is supplying electricity to Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. and a major steel manufacturer in Chhattisgarh, with an expected annual generation of around 78.21 million units. According to AMPIN Energy Transition, the development aligns with the state’s Green Energy Open Access policy and investor-friendly ecosystem. With this addition, the company continues expanding its 5 GW portfolio spread across 23 states nationwide.
