The 100 MW Hultsfred solar farm in Sweden, co-developed by Alight and Neoen, has secured €53 million (~ $55.6 million) in debt financing from Danske Bank. Previously funded through equity from Alight and Neoen, the project’s financing structure is now strengthened by this debt package. The solar farm, expected to become Sweden’s largest, will supply renewable electricity to H&M Group under a long-term power purchase agreement upon commissioning in late 2025. This financing marks the largest solar project funding in Sweden to date, surpassing Alight’s 64 MW solar park near Stockholm. Alight, based in Sweden, and Neoen, headquartered in France, emphasize Sweden’s expanding solar market and its role in advancing the nation’s energy transition, benefiting businesses and communities.
