India-based ACME Solar Holdings has secured a 50 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project from Tata Power-D through an e-reverse auction held in August 2025. The project was awarded at a tariff of INR 4.43(~$0.053) per unit under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). Designed to combine solar generation with battery energy storage, the project must maintain a minimum annual capacity utilisation factor of 40 %, ensure 90 % monthly availability, and provide four hours of peak-hour supply. ACME Solar is required to commission the project within 24 months of signing the power purchase agreement.
