UK-based Viridian Solar introduced a new Clearline fusion roof-integrated solar panel, the PV16-445AG-M10. It is compatible with M10 roofing kits and has a 445 W power rating, providing nearly 10% more output than the previous model. The panel uses N-type TOPCon cells with a glass-glass design, improving durability and reducing oxidation. Its power guarantee is 95% after 10 years and 87% after 30 years. A glass rear face replaces the polymer backsheet, reducing fire risks. It has the highest fire resistance classification (BRoof) and meets European and UK regulations without needing an Extended Application. Viridian Solar designs both the panel and mounting kit, ensuring compliance with NHBC durability standards. The PV16-445AG-M10 will be available from June 1, 2025, and is suited for projects needing high power output, including self-build homes, social housing re-roofing, and new developments aiming to exceed building regulations.
