Trinasolar, a China-based PV module manufacturer, is supplying 210MW of Vertex N 720W modules for a 1GW solar-plus-storage project under construction in a desert region. The facility is expected to be grid-connected by the year end and generate approximately 1.72 billion kWh of electricity annually. It is designed to reduce carbon emissions by about 1.424 million tons per year. The site integrates ecological restoration efforts aimed at stabilizing sand, limiting wind erosion, and supporting vegetation growth. Trinasolar’s Vertex N modules are based on a 210 mm platform with n-type TOPCon cells and are designed to offer high bifaciality, improved energy output, and lower system costs. The modules are expected to deliver higher string power and enhanced performance for large-scale, grid-integrated solar applications.
