Tigo Energy, a US-based provider of Module-Level Power Electronics, has launched its upgraded 725 W TS4-A product lineup for global solar markets. The TS4-A devices support modules up to 725 W, with a short circuit current rating of 22 Amps and a maximum input voltage of 80V. According to Tigo Energy, the devices are backward compatible with earlier TS4 generations and allow plug-and-play installation without bolt mounts or ground wiring. The TS4-A series also includes Multi-factor Rapid Shutdown, providing improved safety with redundant shutdown features. Tigo Energy has confirmed that the products are compatible with its Access Point, Cloud Connect Advanced, and RSS Transmitters. The devices meet NEC 2017 and 2020 section 690.12 rapid shutdown standards when paired with certified inverters. The updated lineup enhances efficiency and safety across residential and C&I solar installations.
