SolSetu, a Goa-based digital platform provider, has launched India’s first dedicated nationwide solar vendor directory recently. The platform was designed to connect solar companies, EPC firms, distributors, and customers, offering verified listings and customizable advertising packages to improve digital visibility. Users were enabled to search by category, service type, or location, with direct messaging tools provided to streamline project inquiries and collaborations. Integration with government programs such as PM Surya Ghar Yojana and PM-KUSUM has offered customers access to information on subsidies and schemes that support adoption. Thousands of vendors were already listed at launch, covering EPC providers, distributors, and service companies, which has strengthened market transparency and accelerated decision-making. SolSetu has also incorporated a community-driven model by addressing trust gaps that were often reported in procurement processes. Founder Girish Kumar Shakya said the platform was developed to improve vendor access and streamline procurement in India’s solar sector.
