Solex Energy in Gujarat commissioned an 800 MW solar module line for Tapi-R series modules. The modules range from 585 W to 625 W. The facility operated 30% faster than others in India. It used AI and automated inspection for better quality control. It featured India’s largest chamber laminators for efficient production. The Tapi-R series has 132 half-cut cells and 182.2 x 210mm wafers. It achieved 625 W and 23.14% efficiency. As part of Vision 2030, Solex planned a 2 GW cell plant. The plant is scalable to 5 GW. The company aimed to expand module capacity from 1.5 GW to 15 GW.
