The smarter E AWARD 2025 was presented to 15 winners across five categories during The smarter E Europe, held from May 7–9 at Messe München in Munich. In Photovoltaics, 7Secondsolar was awarded for AUTOPV, LONGi for its Hi-MO X10 module, and Weidmüller for its PV Inline protection device. CMBlu Energy, Hydrostor, and Samsung SDI received Energy Storage awards for SolidFlow, A-CAES, and U8A1 battery systems, respectively. E-Mobility winners included Friedrich GmbH for URBANROOF, Samsung SDI for battery safety, and Kehua Tech for a 40 kW SiC charger. In Smart Integrated Energy, FENECON, Toscano, and Utiligize were recognized for grid and energy management platforms. The Outstanding Projects category honored Phaesun, LONGi Hydrogen, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology for applications in Kenya, green hydrogen retrofits, and hybrid energy in student housing.
