Polyshine Solar, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has launched two new products at The Smarter E Europe 2025 on May 7. The first is a TÜV NORD-certified flexible module that weighs 2.92 kg/m² and supports a 0.5 m bending radius for curved or low-load rooftops. It was tested for Category 17+ hurricane resistance at 63 m/s, using a polymer encapsulant with 300% higher tear resistance. The second is a 3.3 kg balcony PV module designed for tool-free installation using a zip-tie mounting system. According to Polyshine Solar, it offers a three-year payback period in Germany at €0.30/kWh (~$0.34/kWh). The module uses a 91% transmittance front film and a 1300 MPa encapsulant to prevent breakage. Polyshine Group has validated both products through 20,000 hours of accelerated outdoor aging tests.
