Panduit debuts Solar Drain Clip to support APAC solar uptime

Panduit, a global manufacturer of electrical and network infrastructure solutions, has launched the Solar Drain Clip in the Asia Pacific market. The product addresses water accumulation issues in solar installations. The product aimed to improve drainage and reduce panel shading, helping maintain energy output during high rainfall and humidity. It featured a tool-free clip-on mechanism, supported most panel frame sizes, and could be retrofitted to existing arrays. The clip was tested in various APAC climates and had a service life exceeding 20 years. It targeted utility-scale and commercial solar sites by helping reduce maintenance costs and ensuring long-term durability.
