OPES Solar Mobility, a Germany-based developer of vehicle-integrated solar technology, was named a 2025 finalist in The Smarter E AWARD’s E-Mobility category. The company’s O.Motion Series includes commercial-grade matrix solar modules in 95 W, 125 W, 165 W, 460 W, and 500 W variants with efficiency ratings of at least 23%. The matrix cell connection design allows for up to 90% higher energy yield in partial shading and increases active solar surface area. OPES also offers integrated electronics, including the OSM charge controller for 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V systems and the OSM HV 850 charger for 400 V to 850 V systems. These components collectively form a complete, lightweight, and vibration-resistant solar setup designed for use in trailers, campers, commercial vehicles, and buses. Winners will be announced on May 6 at Messe München, Germany.
