Nomad Solar Energy, a Spain-based manufacturer of mobile solar generator systems owned by TiLT Capital Partners, has inaugurated a €4 million ($ 4.3 million) factory in Villarrubia de Santiago, Toledo. The 15,000 sq.mts facility is designed to produce 1,500 mobile solar generator units annually by the end of 2026. It has been expected to create around 80 direct jobs within the next three years in the region. Each mobile generator, available in trailer or container format, has integrated PV panels and high-capacity batteries for uninterrupted operation. These systems are capable of maintaining power during nighttime or adverse weather conditions, according to Nomad Solar Energy. Nomad Solar Energy has already secured contracts across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Eastern Europe for upcoming deployments. The project is developed in coordination with the regional Ministry of Economy and Business to support Castilla-La Mancha’s clean energy innovation goals.
