Hoymiles Electronics, a China-based manufacturer of solar microinverters and storage systems, has recently launched its Hi Series solutions in Germany. According to Hoymiles, the HiFlow 800 microinverter was designed for balcony or rooftop systems with two panels and has achieved 97% efficiency. The HiFlow Pro was developed for complex residential layouts and has delivered up to 99.8% efficiency with power ratings ranging from 300 W to 2000 W. Both HiFlow models were integrated with the S-Miles Home application, which has provided households with real-time monitoring and system management functions. The HiBattery AC storage unit was equipped with automotive-grade LFP cells, offering over 6,000 cycles and achieving 96.5% bidirectional efficiency. Unlike conventional DC-coupled systems, it was connected through a standard socket, enabling flexible placement, off-grid operation, and zero-export power control. Hoymiles has also reported shipments of over one million balcony solar units in Europe and was ranked first globally in 2024 microinverter shipments excluding the US market. Prior to this launch, Hoymiles has presented scalable solar-plus-storage solutions at RE+ 2025 in the US to highlight its global strategy.
