GoodWe, a China-based manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems, has shipped over 100,000 units of its 50/60 kW string inverter series in China’s C&I segment since its launch in 2024. According to GoodWe, monthly shipments peaked at 20,000 units within six months due to strong demand from noise-sensitive environments like schools, offices, and hospitals. The inverter includes four MPPTs and a compact, lightweight design to enable simplified installation and high energy yield. GoodWe has equipped the system with AFCI 3.0, arc fault detection, rapid shutdown, surge protection, and IP66-rated enclosures for safety. A smart cooling system is also included to ensure durability across diverse operating conditions. GoodWe stated that it is preparing for international expansion of the series following strong domestic adoption supported by China’s distributed solar policy.
