GameChange Solar, a US-based solar tracker manufacturer, has announced that its Genius Tracker is now compatible with APA’s earth screw and A-Frame foundations. According to GameChange Solar, the integration is intended to improve installation on rocky, frost-prone, and variable soil types. APA has stated that its earth screw can be installed using standard rock drills and post drivers, reducing the need for specialized equipment. The A-Frame post is designed for rocky conditions, while APA also offers helical foundations for softer soils. Both foundation types are available in US- and non-US-manufactured versions. As per APA, an onsite foundation test program is available to evaluate subsurface conditions. The companies said the collaboration has aligned tracking and foundation systems to enhance adaptability, structural stability, and installation efficiency across a range of challenging project sites.
