GAF, a Standard Industries company headquartered in the US, will introduce the Timberline Solar ES 2 system at the 2025 International Roofing Expo. The solar shingle system is compatible with GAF Timberline asphalt shingles, allowing nailable installation while generating 57 watts per shingle. The shingles sit flush with the roof deck and will be available at select distribution centers nationwide. GAF’s Center for the Advancement of Roofing Excellence (CARE) will provide live demonstrations on installation techniques during the event. Attendees will also access education sessions focused on solar-integrated roofing technology and sustainable roofing practices. The Timberline Solar ES 2 system is part of GAF’s effort to integrate solar energy into traditional roofing, simplifying solar adoption for homeowners.
