Utiligize, a Denmark-based software-as-a-service company, has received The smarter E AWARD 2025 in the Smart Integrated Energy category for its Forecast & Investment platform. The AI-powered software supports grid operators by simulating billions of load forecasts using data from smart meters and GIS systems. According to Utiligize, the platform identifies voltage deviations, capacity constraints, and overloads with hourly resolution through 2050. It also enables N-1 system resilience analysis and displays spare capacity across the grid. Utiligize stated that utilities using the platform have reduced capital expenditures by up to 35% while maintaining reliability and regulatory compliance. The software enhances transparency in network development, supports stakeholder communication, and visualizes customer-level deviations from contracted capacity. It is also compatible with future technologies, including vehicle-to-grid systems, helping utilities address rising electrification and decentralized energy integration.
