U.S based solar microinverter system manufacturer Enphase Energy, has introduced its Enphase® IQ® Balcony Solar System in Belgium. The system is designed forsmall spaces like balconies and patios, the system includes IQ8HC Microinverters and the IQ Balcony Gateway allowing for simple plug-and-play installation. The system's IQ Microinverters switch seamlessly between grid-tied and off-grid, integrated with Wi-Fi or cellular databy a 5-year data plan and highly reliable. Belgium legalized balcony solar systems for the first time in April 2025, as the country targets a 40% increase in solar capacity by the end of this year. Enphase also recently launced the product in Germany.
