DAS Solar, headquartered in China, has developed lightweight solar modules weighing 4.2kg/, over 70% lighter than traditional systems. These glass-free modules reduce roof load, eliminating the need for structural reinforcement, and can be applied using structural adhesives without brackets or drilling. They are suitable for various applications, including flat rooftops, tile roofs, carports, helipads, and highway slopes. In an industrial park project, the frameless modules minimized installation and maintenance costs while meeting eco-friendly energy needs. Collaborating with an expressway operator, DAS Solar deployed these modules across diverse terrains to establish a "Zero-Carbon Service Area." The innovations align with global policies promoting distributed solar systems and multi-energy integration, driving low-carbon urban development.
