Couleenergy, a China-based solar module manufacturer, has launched a 170 W back contact solar panel for compact and design-focused applications. Couleenergy has stated that the design creates a fully black, grid-free surface and enables over 97% of incident sunlight to reach the active area. Its low temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C ensures higher output in hot conditions compared to standard PERC modules. The panel has dimensions of 1345 × 585 × 30 mm with a weight of 8 kg making it suitable for rooftops, RVs, boats, and other space-limited installations. Couleenergy has confirmed certified system voltages up to 1000 V DC, and product warranty for 10 years and performance warranty for 25 years. Couleenergy has confirmed that OEM and ODM services are available with a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces.
