Caelux, a US-based solar technology firm focused on perovskite innovation and manufacturing, was named the Solar Technology Company 2025 by CleanTech Breakthrough. The award recognizes performance and innovation across clean energy sectors. According to Caelux, its main product, Caelux One, is a perovskite-coated glass that integrates with silicon PV modules using a four-terminal, passively connected architecture. While the perovskite and silicon layers operate independently in parallel, the junction box maintains a standard two-lead output for compatibility with existing systems. As per Caelux, the product increases power output by up to 30% and reduces installation costs by 20%. CEO Scott Graybeal said the award reflects Caelux’s commitment to advancing solar performance without requiring changes to current manufacturing or installation processes.
