Astronergy, a China-based manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, has participated in Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich, where its ASTRO N7s series was among the products showcased. The modules have received a High Mechanical Load Test Certificate from TÜV NORD and a HW4 Hail Impact Test Certificate from the VereinigungKantonalerFeuerversicherungen (VKF) in Switzerland. According to Astronergy, the hail impact test was conducted at TÜV Rheinland’s facility in Cologne using 40mm ice balls, which caused no cracks or power loss. TÜV NORD tested the modules under +10,000/–4,000Pa mechanical loads simulating wind, snow, desert, and high-altitude conditions. The ASTRO N7s incorporates ZBB-TOPCon technology, eliminating front-side busbars to increase light capture and reduce shading. Astronergy has stated that this design reduces risks of microcracks and encapsulation failure, helping to lower maintenance needs across the system’s lifetime.
