APsystems USA, a US-headquartered provider of module-level power electronics, has updated its DS3 microinverters with extended connector whips. This resolves installation challenges where module leads struggle to connect properly. The added length provides flexibility, reduces wiring strain, and lowers damage potential. It streamlines alignment and boosts efficiency for installers in common setups as in typical rooftop and small commercial setups. Although certain configurations may need additional extensions, the revision minimizes such requirements. Stemming from installer input, it strengthens reliability and aids long-term solar performance by limiting stress points. Earlier this year, Sinovoltaics has ranked APsystems first for global inverter stability.
