AIKO, a China-based photovoltaic technology manufacturer, has partnered with Solar Team Twente to supply Back Contact solar cells for the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. The 3,000-kilometer race across Australia is a major global competition for solar-powered vehicles. Solar Team Twente is using AIKO’s high-efficiency cells to improve energy output and minimize conversion losses under race conditions. According to AIKO, the cells are engineered for consistent performance and durability in varying environments.
