AIKO, based in China, showcased its latest PV innovations at PV EXPO 2024 in Tokyo, including the ABC lightweight modules and full-screen technology. According to the company, the 54-cell full-screen module delivers 485 W, 35 W more than mainstream TOPCon modules. This module incorporates advanced features such as ultra-high resistance silicon wafers, n-type ABC cells, 0BB busbar-free technology, multilayer soldering, and ribbon storage technology. AIKO also introduced the ABC Nebula series, a lightweight module weighing 8.6 kg, with 22.3% efficiency and a 445 W output, designed for rooftop installations. AIKO has also conducted various tests to demonstrate the performance of its modules, including power generation under shading, cell impact resistance, and crack resistance. AIKO has announced plans to introduce these products globally in 2025.
