AIKO, headquartered in China, has initiated shipments of the 480 W Neostar 2P, Australia’s first residential panel exceeding 24% module efficiency. Manufactured at AIKO’s Zhuhai facility, the panel retains a 54-cell design, measuring 1757 x 1134mm, similar to its 470 W and 475 W predecessors. Weighing under 22 kgs and occupying less than 2 sq Mts, it remains lightweight for safe handling and installation. Initial shipments of the 480 W Neostar 2P are en route to Solar Juice, AIKO’s local distributor in Australia. To further support the market, AIKO has recently upgraded its Neostar 2P 465 W panel to 470 W across all major distributors. AIKO has also partnered with the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics in a $4 million initiative to develop IBC solar cells targeting 30% efficiency
