AIKO, a China-based PV technology company, has begun global shipments of its third-generation INFINITE ABC solar modules for residential and commercial applications. According to the company, these modules offer power outputs ranging from 450 W to 700 W, generating 40 W more than traditional TOPCon and 20 W more than previous ABC models. AIKO said that its ABC technology has increased light absorption by 1.8%, while precision overlap soldering and a hidden busbar layout have improved shading tolerance by 30%. The modules feature a 2.0+2.0 mm dual-glass structure, which, as per AIKO, enhances micro-crack resistance, while heat reduction technology lowers temperature buildup by 30%. In 2024, the company achieved 75% bifaciality, addressing a key industry challenge in BC technology. AIKO has maintained its No.1 global ranking in ABC module efficiency since March 2023.
