LONGi, a global solar technology manufacturer headquartered in China, has released worldwide field data for its BC technology and Hi-MO 9 module following long-term testing across major regional markets. The results have shown watt-for-watt gains of 1.21% to 3.92% when compared with mainstream TOPCon modules operating under diverse climatic conditions. Enertis Applus+ in Spain verified 2,209 full-load hours and LCOE reductions reaching 4.47% through higher power-generation performance. IPVF assessments in France and Denmark recorded a 1.84% average gain and LCOE advantages of 3.32% and 2.43%, respectively. In China, evaluations confirmed gains up to 1.87% alongside reduced operating temperatures and improved degradation indicators. The data also demonstrated substantially lower hot-spot temperatures under partial shading, which LONGi said improves long-term system safety. Recently, LONGi has agreed to supply BC modules for a major Abu Dhabi project.
