The Centre for Environmental Health and Safety at IGMPI, an India-based professional training institute, has introduced a six-month certification program for Solar PV Technicians. The program has been structured into ten modules covering system components, site assessment, grid connection, safety, finance, and emerging technologies. It is open to graduates from any discipline and is conducted in English through weekend sessions in both regular and online modes. IGMPI has provided printed study materials and evaluates participants through module-wise tests and a final online examination. Certification is awarded to candidates who successfully complete all required credits under the defined evaluation process. The course fee is ₹45,000 or $1,000, and the final application deadline has been set for August 6, 2025. IGMPI has included job placement assistance, resume building, and interview preparation through partnerships with relevant industry organizations.
