China-based GoodWe has partnered with Tigo to introduce a streamlined optimization setup using PV modules equipped with integrated or retrofitted MLPEs. The approach has reduced unnecessary module-level devices and lowered balance-of-system needs. Customers were able to select different Tigo units based on budgets and system requirements. GoodWe’s DNS and SDT inverter series were designed to operate with Tigo’s Cloud Connect Advanced datalogger, which removed the need for an additional unit. The combined platform has collected operating data from inverters, smart modules and connected devices. The setup has provided clearer system insights and supported real-time monitoring on both platforms. Fewer components have minimized failure risks and simplified service needs. Tigo’s TS4 platform was compatible with both inverter series to support residential and commercial installations.
