Ingeteam, a Spanish power and control electronics provider, has revealed supplying PV and storage inverters for the Winton North hybrid project of European Energy Australia in Victoria. The plant consists of a 100 MW AC solar farm and a 100 MW / 2-hour BESS over 256 hectares, to come online in 2027. Ingeteam announced it will supply plug-and-play medium-voltage power plants with built-in transformers, switchgear, and a hybrid multi-plant controller to oversee both solar and storage facilities. Based on European Energy Australia, the plant will generate around 227 GWh of electricity per year and enhance grid stability with coordinated hybrid system operation.
