Virginia-based American Aerospace Technologies, Inc (AATI), and eFusionX, Inc. has announced a partnership to co-develop the AiRangerE, an electrified version of the AiRanger UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System). The new model included twin electric motors, solar-integrated wings, and low-noise propellers. It aimed to reduce emissions, noise, and maintenance while improving endurance and payload capacity. The design featured solar-electric propulsion, BVLOS compliance, and multi-mission adaptability. Applications included defense, environmental monitoring, infrastructure surveillance, and disaster response. It was built to align with long-term goals of lowering emissions and operational costs.
