AIKO, a China-based solar module manufacturer, and ISC Konstanz, a Germany-based solar research institute, will co-host the Global BC Technology Summit and the 14th bifiPV Workshop in Yiwu, China, on November 24–25, 2025. The two-day event is expected to gather more than 500 experts, researchers, and companies focused on bifacial back-contact solar technology. The program will include over 30 presentations covering ingot production, cell and module research, system safety, and standardization. A special highlight will be a site visit to AIKO’s facility, showcasing advanced ABC module production lines. Confirmed participants include universities and institutes such as UNSW, ANU, GÜNAM, TNO, Delft University of Technology, and ISC Konstanz. Companies including LONGi, Futura Sun, SPIC, AE Solar, Wavelabs, PV Lighthouse, and Semilab will also join, underlining global collaboration toward BC commercialization and reliability. Earlier this year, AIKO has also achieved a record 24.4% back-contact module efficiency, strengthening its leadership in BC innovation.
