Tata Power to supply renewable power for Noida airport

Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) has partnered with India-based Tata Power to supply renewable energy for its upcoming Noida International Airport, set to launch on April 17, 2025. According to Tata Power, Tata Power Trading Company Limited (TPTCL) will oversee the delivery of 10.8 MW of wind power through Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL). TPREL will also establish, operate, and maintain a 13 MW onsite solar power facility to meet the airport’s energy demands. The agreement includes Tata Power’s provision of electrical infrastructure, operational support, and maintenance over a 25-year term. This renewable initiative involves a ₹550 crore (~$66 million) investment, focusing on both wind and solar power, smart energy systems, and essential utilities.
