Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL), part of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has partnered with the Bank of India (BOI) to streamline financing for rooftop solar systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. This initiative aligns with the government’s push for increased rooftop solar adoption, facilitating easier access for residential users, housing societies, and small businesses. TPSSL’s solar rooftop capacity exceeds 2 GW, with significant progress across multiple regions. TPREL, boasting a total renewable capacity of 10,025 MW, operates 4,817 MW of this total. The company also supports a vast EV charging network, including 5,500 public points, 100,000 home chargers, and 950 bus charging points in over 550 locations.
