SunSource Energy, a subsidiary of SHV Energy, has commissioned three open access solar power plants in Uttar Pradesh, with a total capacity of 45 MWp. Located in Jhansi and Lalitpur districts, these projects cover 150 acres and will generate 1.5 million MWh of solar energy, offsetting 1.4 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. The projects serve a diverse range of marquee clients, including a major media conglomerate, a leading data center, an educational institute, and global beverage companies. SunSource now has six operational open access projects in UP, with four more in development, bringing its total operational capacity in the state close to 100 MWDC. This expansion highlights SunSource’s commitment to India’s energy transition, with 600 MWp of solar assets across major Indian states.
