Sungrow, a leading PV inverter and energy storage system supplier, has completed a significant project in South Australia with YES Group as EPC Contractor and Sustainable Energy Infrastructure (SEI) as the project owner. According to the company, this project, located in South Australia’s agricultural belt, supports the region’s transition to 100% renewable energy by 2027. Sungrow provided a turnkey station for a 1500 Vdc system with potential future integration of battery energy storage systems (BESS). The company claims the solution offers a customizable, sustainable, and cost-effective approach tailored to meet the energy needs of YES Group and SEI. Sungrow’s rapid response capability ensures grid stability and reliability, utilizing advanced features like DC coupling and REFCL arc-stopping technology to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
