China-based Sungrow, a leading provider of PV inverters and energy storage systems, has signed a strategic agreement with Hero Future Energies (HFE), the renewable energy arm of Hero Group, to supply 850 MW of inverters, extending the strong 5-year partnership of duo. According to the Sungrow, this agreement strengthens its presence in India’s expanding clean energy sector. The inverters, featuring the latest 1500V technology and manufactured at Sungrow’s Bengaluru facility, will be used in various HFE projects across India. Sungrow claims these IP65-rated inverters provide optimized LCOE and robust performance in extreme conditions, including deserts, thanks to its advanced protection and smart forced air-cooling technology. . Sungrow, committed to “Clean power for all,” has installed over 515 GW of power electronic converters globally as of December 2023.
