Starlight Energy, a subsidiary of NextEnergy Group, has acquired Intelligent Alternatives Limited, a prominent UK renewables developer, enhancing its UK development capabilities.Founded in 2009 in Glasgow, Scotland, Intelligent Alternatives excelled in subsidy-free solar farms and energy storage projects. It manages over 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects and 12,000 mobile comms sites.The acquisition augments Starlight's team by six members, to take the total to over 50. Starlight, committed to ethical renewable projects globally, has developed over 100 utility-scale projects worldwide, with a pipeline exceeding 10GW across various geographies, supporting NextEnergy Group's clean energy transition mission.
