US-based Solis USA (Ginlong Technologies), a leader in solar inverter technology, has announced that its S6 Hybrid Energy Storage Inverter (3.8-11.4 kW) received the UL9540 certification. According to the company, UL9540 is a critical safety standard for energy storage systems, ensuring that equipment can connect to local grids or function as standalone units. The certification also defines installation and performance testing for electrical, mechanical, and environmental safety. Solis has partnered with HomeGrid, integrating its HV Stack'd Series battery with the S6 Inverter for scalability in residential and commercial projects. As per Solis, customers can expand their systems with additional storage using these inverters. Solis has also secured UL9540 listings for other battery brands, such as Pytes, LG, Soluna, Pylontech, and BYD, enhancing customer options for energy storage solutions.
