Malaysia’s Solarvest Holdings Berhad, in partnership with Finhero, launched Vietnam’s first solar financing fintech platform through its Powervest program. The platform offers financing options like Powerflex, which allows businesses to own or co-own solar systems, and Powerlease, which enables leasing under the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) framework. The partnership was formalized with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Digital Economy Experience (DEX) Connex Vietnam 2024 program, supported by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). Finhero’s technology simplifies credit assessments and financing applications, improving access to renewable energy investments. Solarvest aims to leverage its 1,300 MW renewable energy expertise to support Vietnam’s sustainability goals and growing demand for clean energy.
