SolarEdge Technologies reports Q4 and FY 2023 financial results, forecasts Q1 2024 revenue outlook 

SolarEdge Technologies, Inc., a prominent figure in smart energy tech, has released Q4 2023 figures, reporting USD 316.0 million in total revenue; USD 282.4M from the solar segment, with a stark -17.9% GAAP gross margin. The quarter saw an operating loss of USD 237.6M and a net loss of USD 162.4M. For the full year 2023, the company reported USD 3.0 billion in revenue, USD 2.8 billion from the solar segment, showcasing a 23.6% GAAP gross margin. Operating income amounted to USD 40.2 million, with a net income of USD 34.3 million. Looking ahead to Q1 2024, SolarEdge forecasts revenues between USD 175 million and USD 215 million and a non-GAAP gross margin between -3% to 1%.
