SolarEdge, based in Israel and US-based Summit Ridge Energy (SRE) have announced a partnership for rooftop solar projects exceeding 100 MW. SolarEdge has supplied domestically manufactured inverters and Power Optimizers, produced in Tampa, Florida, for these projects. Initial shipments have been planned to begin in April 2025, standardizing SRE’s industrial solar installations. These projects have supported large-scale rooftop solar developments across Maryland and Illinois. SRE has prioritized American-made components to enhance grid resilience, strengthen supply chains, and create local jobs. By leasing industrial rooftops, SRE has contributed to energy independence and economic growth in the United States. SolarEdge has emphasized clean energy credits as essential for advancing domestic manufacturing and solar technology expertise.
