Sojitz and Aeon Mall collaborate on PV Power System for BSD City location

Sojitz Corporation, in collaboration with Aeon Mall, has partnered with its affiliate, PT Surya Nippon Nusantara (SNN), to implement a rooftop solar power system at Aeon Mall BSD City in Indonesia. The solar project spanning an area of 4,244 square meters will operational in January 2024 to generates 1,161 MWh annually. This initiative results in a noteworthy reduction of 712 tons in CO2 emissions. Aligned with Aeon’s Decarbonization Vision 2050, the project aims to achieve CO2-free electricity in malls by the year 2025. This collaboration emphasizes renewable energy integration, contributing to a decarbonized society. Another solar system is planned for Aeon Mall Deltamas, marking the fifth location in Indonesia for this eco-friendly initiative.
