SMA Solar expands with new production facility in Poland 

SMA Solar Technology AG expands its Polish subsidiary with a second production building at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre. Scheduled for completion in Q4 2024, the 10,000-square-meter facility will focus on electromagnetic components. GLP Poland manages planning and leasing, and Bremer serves as the general contractor. The Kraków region is pivotal for GLP’s operations. The new facility aims to support SMA’s growth, creating up to 300 jobs with three automated production lines. The cornerstone ceremony marked this significant step, attended by representatives from SMA, SMA Magnetics, GLP, and construction company Bremer AG.
