Singapore Post Limited (SingPost), the leading postal and eCommerce logistics provider in the Asia-Pacific region, has successfully completed a 995 kWp solar energy power system on the roof of SingPost Centre. This project, executed in partnership with Sembcorp Solar Singapore, is part of a mixed-use development valued at S$1.1 billion as of March 31, 2024. According to the company, the newly installed solar panels are expected to generate approximately 1,150,000 kWh annually. This renewable energy output can power around 271 four-room public housing units in Singapore for a year. SingPost has previously installed solar panels at its regional eCommerce Logistics Hub, contributing significantly to its energy needs.
