Silfab Solar, a prominent North American PV manufacturer, has signed an agreement with SOLARCYCLE for the purchase of ultra-low carbon domestic glass. SOLARCYCLE, in turn, announced plans for a unique factory in Georgia to produce ultra-low carbon solar glass from recycled materials, conveniently located near Silfab’s new South Carolina fab. This alignment enhances US-made clean energy products, meeting national content demands and fostering job growth. The partnership significantly reduces manufacturing and shipping emissions. Silfab’s commitment to sustainability extends to recycling its older or under-performing panels and production left-overs.
