In Greeley, Colorado, the First Congregational Church transitioned to renewable solar energy and improved HVAC management, guided by a retired attorney’s decade-long counsel. Advanced Energy Systems aided in design, installation, and commissioning, creating a 90 kW solar system, one of Greeley’s largest. Featuring 204 Silfab Commercial solar panels, supported by IronRidge QuickMount technology and Sol-Ark-15K-2P Inverters, it includes 12 Simpliphi 4.9 kWh batteries for peak demand reduction. Silfab’s panels boast premium materials and ISO-accredited manufacturing, backed by a 25-year product and 30-year performance warranty. The system is estimated to produce 155.6 MWh/year, saving 4,378 MWh over 30 years. With battery support, it offsets 89% of energy consumption and 40% of peak demand for the church.
